2004 Higher Education PKI Summit Meeting August 12–13, 2004 The EDUCAUSE Net@EDU program is pleased to announce its sixth annual summit meeting on how higher education is implementing and developing public key infrastructure on campus. This workshop, offered to Net@EDU members on a first-come, first-served basis, will be held August 12-13, 2004 in Snowmass Village, Colorado. Funded in part by the National Science Foundation, the meeting will include a roadmap of current campus PKI activities, a review of work and progress since last year's summit, and highlights of plans for next year. The broad objective for this meeting is to promote common understanding and interoperability among campuses, federal and state government, and private industry. Attendees will leave with an up-to-date perspective on the national, technical, and policy environments as they relate to identification, authentication, and authorization. Please register soon. There is no registration fee for this event, but space, especially hotel space, is limited and going fast. If you have questions, please contact Steve Worona at sworona@educause.edu. |
