With personal computers now being used for everything from online course registration to banking, it is critical to keep your computer up-to-date to prevent potential data loss. Institutions often provide software or services to assist in securing your computer. Questions to ask include:
- Is there a campus site license for antivirus and spyware prevention software?
- What support services are available if my computer gets compromised?
- Is there a campus computer security website?
