Services and Fees Question 4.8 Details
How does the campus support printing for students, and is there a charge for this service?
Printing is often funded differently from computer hardware and software because it uses up expendable and expensive paper and ink. It is very important that students are able to print their rough drafts and final results rapidly and conveniently wherever they are working. Colleges normally provide printers for this purpose in the student computing labs and sometimes in shared rooms of the residence halls.
- Is there a separate charge for printing?
- If so, is it by the page? How much?
- Is a base level of printing funded in a technology fee?
- Are there limits on how much can be printed?
The rapid evolution of color printing supports much more effective presentation and design, but further increases expendable costs.
- Is color printing available?
- Is there a different fee?
