Recognition Committee

Members of this committee are charged with maintaining quality standards for EDUCAUSE awards and advising the EDUCAUSE president on strategic directions for professional recognition. They select the winners of the Leadership Awards and the Catalyst Award, through a process of soliciting nominations or applications, researching background information, and evaluating candidates.

Committee members should bring experience from institutions of broadly diverse size, type, and geographic distribution; significant expertise in managing information technology resources on their campuses at a high level; and sufficient background with EDUCAUSE and their wider professional world to bring a solid understanding of quality achievement and knowledge of professional activity.
