EDUCAUSE Review takes a broad look at current developments and trends in information technology, how they may affect the college or university as an institution, and what they mean for higher education and society. In addition to EDUCAUSE members, the magazine's audience consists of presidents and chancellors, senior academic and administrative leaders, non-IT staff, faculty in all disciplines, librarians, and corporate leaders. The magazine has more than 21,000 print subscribers and receives more than 43,000 hits per month online.

In addition to these latest awards from publishing organizations, the magazine has received honors in past years from Apex,  Magnum Opus, Tabbies, Ozzies, Colorado Society for Association Executives, Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington D.C., and PRINT Regional Design Annual.

Of these latest honors, EDUCAUSE President Diana Oblinger said, “Recognition of EDUCAUSE Review and Teddy Diggs by the publishing world is most gratifying and validates what many of us have always felt--the magazine is a terrific publication that provides a valued service to our community. It is superb at explaining ‘Why IT Matters in Higher Education.’”
