Applications and Content Focus Group

The real power of our state networks is the communication avenue it provides the communities we serve. Content is the fundamental product or building block of research, teaching and learning. It is clearly the primary asset that travels across the network among the community. Applications enable and support the delivery and exchange of content across our networked communities.

Focus Group Goals

Share information about advanced applications and content from our own StateNets, and across represented StateNets.
Promote network enabled applications that support research, teaching and learning.
Possible tasks (Note: The focus group will fine-tune the goals and the tasks.)
- Use the focus group to develop a people network.
- Share information and resources available from represented StateNets.
- Discuss strategies for facilitating the exchange of content.
- Discuss and share advanced applications that support research, teaching and learning being used in other states.
