The Nomination and Election Committee would appreciate your recommendations of individuals to consider for the
slate of candidates for the 2011 election, to be conducted in 2010. You may nominate yourself and/or
someone else using the form below.
EDUCAUSE, following its dedication to "Uncommon Thinking for the Common Good", is evolving to become more innovative,
agile, experimental, and responsive to member and community needs. Its Board members must be willing to tackle
difficult issues and problems, to explore traditional and nontraditional ways to address them, to challenge each
other in a collegial spirit, and to work together to advance ECUCAUSE and higher-education IT. The Nominations
Committee therefore seeks candidates who will bring the necessary wisdom, effectiveness, candor, and creative
thinking to the Board. In choosing among potential Board candidates, the Nominations Committee will focus on how
nominees (a) experience, (b) achievements, (c) style, and (d) perspectives will help advance EDUCAUSE to evolve most
productively. In the Nomination Statement on this form, please comment directly and specifically on these four
dimensions of the nominees qualifications for Board membership (or your own, in the case of self-nominations), in
addition to whatever other attributes you believe the Nominations Committee should consider.
