Biography

Allen Lind is the Vice President of Technology and eLearning for the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. His areas of responsibility include the eLearning, P20 state data warehouse, and state data networks. Lind started in marketing for IBM and then served in postsecondary education technology positions at campus, system and state levels in Illinois, Mississippi and Kentucky.

Lind has served as the President of netIllinois, an early not-for-profit statewide Internet Service Provider for education and government. He has served as President of EDNET, a Mississippi not-for-profit providing wireless educational content statewide, and he has served as Chairman of Mississippi Public Broadcasting, a state agency with statewide public television, radio and interactive videoconferencing networks. He currently serves on the Southern Region Education Board (SREB) Education Technology Cooperative.

A native of Chicago, Allen lives in Lexington Kentucky with his wife Connie and their two college age children.
