Barbara SawhillDirector Cooper International Learning Center Oberlin, Ohio UNITED STATES Barbara SawhillBiographyBarbara is Director of the Cooper International Learning Center at Oberlin College, a job where she is both an instructional technologist for foreign language learning as well as a Spanish teacher. Barbara has also taught at the secondary school level. Her interests include using collaborative web-based tools to create learning communities for foreign language students. Barbara is the President of IALLT (The International Association for Language Learning Technology) Independent of her work at Oberlin College, she maintains a blog and produces a weekly series of semi-weekly webcasts/podcasts about language teaching, language pedagogy and instructional technologies in general.
