Brett ChristieDirector of Faculty Development Rohnert Park, California UNITED STATES Brett ChristieBiographyDr. Brett Christie is the Director of the Center for Teaching and Professional Development and Professor of Educational Technology at Sonoma State University. Brett has a wealth of experience in teacher education, professional development, and mentoring, having worked with faculty from many disciplines in grants, projects, and other collaborations. Examples of activities include leadership in national projects, such as EnACT, Building the Digital Bridge, and Light Bridge. Brett is also the Coordinator of the Accessible Technology Initiative at Sonoma State University, helping faculty and staff better meet the educational needs of all students, including students with disabilities. Finally, Brett is actively engaged in research, publication and dissemination, as related to instructional technology and faculty development. Topics cover a broad range of educational uses of technology, as well as developing effective online resources for broader implementation.
