Brian KellyDirector of Information Security and Network Operations Hamden, Connecticut UNITED STATES Brian KellyBiographyBrian Kelly joined Quinnipiac University in 2006 , as the University Information Security Officer, Director of Information Security. His career in information security began with the United States Air Force in 1993. Brian holds a bachelors degree from the University of Connecticut and a masters degree from Norwich University. He is a member of various professional organizations including the Information System Security Association, InfraGuard, High Tech Crime Investigation Association and Information Systems Audit Control Association. Before coming to Quinnipiac, Brian was an information security manager for Aetna in Hartford. where he developed information security policies to support wireless initiatives and comply with HIPAA. He has supports Investigative Service (IAD), Human Resources, Legal and Compliance organization by providing technical and forensic assistance with cases involving employee abuse of internet and e-mail systems. Brian is also a Communications Officer with the 102nd Information Warfare Squadron of the Rhode Island Air National Guard, an adjunct instructor at Naugatuck Valley Community College in the CIS Department teaching Networking courses.
