Carnegie Mellon University

Candace Thille is the director of the Open Learning Initiative (OLI) at Carnegie Mellon University, a project funded by The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. OLI seeks to make high-quality cognitively informed online education widely accessible and to contribute to our growing understanding of effective online-learning environments. Prior to coming to Carnegie Mellon, she spent 18 years in the private sector at a management-consulting and training firm specializing in collaborative change consulting and workplace-learning solutions.
