Charles Patrick Kohrman, IIChief Information Officer, Berks Campus Reading, Pennsylvania UNITED STATES Charles Patrick Kohrman, IIBiographyPat is the Chief Information Officer for the Berks Campus of Penn State University and has been serving in that position for the last nine years. He has over twenty-four years of teaching experience. He is a Senior Lecturer in Business Administration and has been teaching in the areas of business statistics and management information systems. He is a recipient of the Berks Outstanding Teaching Award. Pat has been instrumental in establishing IT strategic planning for the College, implementing a lifecycling plan, standardizing the College computing platform, creation of on instructional design services department, and has also led the strategic enhancement of physical facilities for information technology education and services in the College. He has written distance education course materials and also teaches for the World Campus of Penn State University. Pat has presented pre-conference workshops and conference sessions at the annual Educause conferences. Pat has served as a project manager in the development of BerksNet, a countywide intranet and continues to be involved in community projects. He has also initiated the development of hybrid learning models at the Berks Campus. He participated in the inaugural Frye Institue in 2000. He has also particpated in the Harvard Management Development Program through the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has received the Howard O. Beaver Outstanding Community Service Award. He received his A.B. in Economics from Susquehanna University and his M.B.A from Penn State University.
