Daniel A. Updegrove

Biography

Dan Updegrove is Special Assistant to the VP for IT at the University of Texas at Austin, focused on strategic networking initiatives. From January 2001 through September 2006, he served as UT's VP for IT and its first CIO. Previously he was CIO at Yale University, Associate Vice Provost at the University of Pennsylvania, Vice President of Educom, Research Associate at Yale University and the National Bureau of Economic Research, and Teaching Associate at Cornell University. He is a frequent contributor to Educause publications and programs.
