Darlene H. Quackenbush

Biography

Darlene Quackenbush leads strategic planning and policy development for information technology at James Madison University. She also serves as the university's Information Security Officer. In these roles, she promotes information security education and risk management, develops contingency plans, performs strategic planning and policy development work and serves as the univesity's technology liaison to the Commonwealth. Using her experience applying technology within public and higher education, Darlene has assisted a variety of successful initiatives and groups including the Virginia Alliance for Secure Computing and Networking (VASCAN) and the Association of Collegiate Computing Services (ACCS) of Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from James Madison University.
