David GreenbergDavid GreenbergBiographyDavid Greenberg is a Security Engineer with Indiana University and works out of the Indianapolis campus. David began his affiliation with the University as a freshman student in 1995 and graduated with a bachelor of science in Biology in 1999. He did not proceed directly from Biology into Computers, it was more of an evolution. :) He started as a part time employee in the Student Technology Centers, then worked full time for various departments doing end user technical support. Investigating the Melissa virus was fun, but only a small part of tech support and in 2004 when an opening became available in the IT Security Office, David took the opportunity to work on IT security full time. David holds a SANS GIAC Security Essentials Gold certification (GSEC), is a GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) and a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) . His current responsibilities include academic systems support, desktop and networking support, and technical investigations.
