His career in academic computing began at the Maricopa County Community College District and included stop overs at Santa Monica College, University of Houston-Clear Lake, and University of Maryland-University College. His most recent publication is a book chapter "Contemporary Issues Facing Distance Educators: An eLearning Perspective"; in Dr. Gary Anglin's Instructional Technology: Past, Present, and Future, 3rd edition which he co-wrote with Dr. Atsusi Hirumi. His Ed.D. degree is from University of Houston and he is an alumni of Arizona State University.
