Gary Kidney

Biography

Gary Kidney is the Director of Academic and Research Computing at Rice University. His career in academic computing began at the Maricopa County Community College District and included stop overs at Santa Monica College, University of Houston-Clear Lake, and University of Maryland-University College. His most recent publication is a book chapter "Contemporary Issues Facing Distance Educators: An eLearning Perspective"; in Dr. Gary Anglin's Instructional Technology: Past, Present, and Future, 3rd edition which he co-wrote with Dr. Atsusi Hirumi. His Ed.D. degree is from University of Houston and he is an alumni of Arizona State University.
