Geneva HenryExecutive Director, Center for Digital Scholarship Houston, Texas UNITED STATES Geneva HenryBiographyGeneva Henry is the Executive Director for Rice's Digital Library Initiative. The Digital Library Initiative is a series of projects past, on-going, and planned that will create an information rich environment for scholars to easily find and share scholarly materials, whether in digital or non-digital form. The goal is to promote more effective teaching, interdisciplinary research and collaboration across the campus and with other institutions without being media-constrained. Prior to Rice, Genevas career included 18 years of applied research and development in digital libraries, text search, natural language processing, expert systems, and complex systems integration at IBM, TRW, and the RAND Corporation. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles, a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a M.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington.
