Greg SchafferAssistant Vice President for Network and Information Technology Security Murfreesboro, Tennessee UNITED STATES Greg SchafferBiographyGreg Schaffer has been with Middle Tennessee State University since 1998 and currently is the Assistant Vice President for Network and Information Technology Security. He oversees the design, installation, maintenance, and security of the university's packet network infrastructure. Previously, he worked for the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee as Assistant Network Manager and the University at Buffalo, NY as Network Technician. Greg has given numerous presentations on network management and security. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and currently is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
