James BradleyInterim Executive Director for Technology Support Services Houston, Texas UNITED STATES James BradleyBiographyJim Bradley has served the University of Houston's IT department for more than 23 years in a variety of roles. Jim is currently leading the Technology Support Services unit of IT. In that role, he directs units responsible for Classroom Technologies, Desktop Planning and Software, Instructional Television. the IT Support Center, the Technology Commons, Telecommunication Services, the UH Contact Center, and Web Technologies. Most recently, Jim served the university's enrollment services areas by introducing new technologies to meet their emerging business needs. He also worked closely with the CIO in the areas of IT Governance, Strategic Alignment and overall helping keep things moving along in the Office of the CIO. Prior to that, he was responsible for delivering Internet-based services through the Web, LISTSERV, LDAP and other on-line technologies. In his time at UH, Jim has also served in a variety of roles including directing IT Customer Services, Assistant to the CIO, and as an adjunct professor teaching technology and Web topics. Jim also has served on numerous university committees and special assignments as well as volunteer and community activities. Jim is married and has two daughters. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and his Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Houston. He is currently working on his MBA at the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
