Jameson WatkinsDirector, Internet Development Kansas City, Kansas UNITED STATES Jameson WatkinsBiographyJameson Watkins is the Director of Internet Development at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He manages a staff of fourteen, including database and systems administrators, web usability specialists, application developers, and web designers. Jameson wrote a chapter entitled, "Developing a Portal Channel Strategy" for the 2003 book, Portals: Opportunities and Challenges. He is also on the national faculty at Emporia State University, where he teaches graduate courses in information architecture, web design, and TCP/IP networking. His professinal interests include web portals, middleware, identity management, and information architecture. He has a masters degree in Library Science and bachelors degree in English.
