Jude HigdonManaging Director, Technology-Enhanced Learning Minneapolis, Minnesota UNITED STATES Jude HigdonBiographyJude Higdon is the Managing Director of Technology-Enhanced Learning for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota (UMN), where he manages a team of more than 20 instructional designers. He also occasionally teaches courses at Hamline University's graduate school of education. He holds an Ed.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California, an Ed.M. in Technology in Education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and a B.S. in African politics from Northwestern University. Before coming to UMN, Jude worked at the convergence of technology and education at other institutions of higher learning including Northwestern University, the City Colleges of Chicago, Brandeis University, Harvard University, Duke University, and the University of Southern California. He has also developed online learning environments for several major not-for-profit organizations including the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the American Red Cross, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. His dissertation research focused on the intersection of goal orientation and feedback. He is an avid anusara yogi and will be happy to bore you with stories about his current favorite arm balance.
