Katherina E.G. Sorrentino

Biography

Katherina (Kathie) Sorrentino has been with the University of Connecticut
for 23 years -- focused on Information Technology. The 23 years have
been with the division of University ITS, starting as a technician
(mainframes
to personal computers) and then managing several areas to include academic
computing, Help Desk, consulting services, central and distributed server
support, academic labs and desktop support, web development and IT
education.
Her current role with University ITS is Customer Support & Relations -- the Help Center, Accounts, Technology Support Services, Problem/Change Management, and Telephone Operations. In addition, Kathie acts as the
customer's
advocate, the negotiator of
service level agreements, and the communicator of services (new and
changing).
