Katherine J. Ranes (Arizona State University)Katherine J. RanesBiographyKatie Ranes is a Director in the Unversity Technology Office at Arizona State University. She has worked at ASU for 21 years and has been involved in a variety of administrative technology projects using architectures that range from the mainframe to client/server to the web. Her current responsibility is directing the Application Support team which provides support for production applications for the entire ASU community. From December 2006 through April 2008, she served as functional director on the OASIS project, ASU's implementation of Oracle/PeopleSoft, focusing on Student Administration and also directed the UTO Training Team. Former assignments include leadership for the initial ASU portal, project management for the Coeus implementation in support of research administration processes and various other administrative systems projects related to student processes. Katie has served CUMREC in various capacities and has made 6 previous presentations at CUMREC.
