McLaughlinBiographyKevin McLaughlin is the Director of Information Security at the University of Cincinnati (UC), where he manages and creates strategic plans and information security (InfoSec) programs. Kevin holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), and a Managers Certificate in ITIL (IT Service Management). Kevin completed his MS degree in Computer Science at Nova Southeastern University in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida. Kevin has been an adjunct for the past 14 years, most recently with the University of Cincinnati. Prior to his move to UC Kevin was a Senior Information Security Manager for the Procter & Gamble company in Cincinnati. Lastly, Kevin participates in many industry groups and forums and is currently the Treasurer and an Executive Director for itSMF USA, the premier foundation for the promotion of ITIL across North America.
