Biography

Laurie G. Antolovic' is Deputy Chief Information Officer in the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Indiana University (OVPIT.) Prior to being promoted to this role, Antolovic’ was IU Associate Vice President for Research and Information Technology. OVPIT has responsibility on all IU campuses for Learning Technologies, Research Technologies, Enterprise Software, Enterprise Infrastructure ,Networks and Support. Antolovic’ leads the IT Stewardship and Futures Councils and oversees the Applied Technologies Laboratory which is responsible for testing and investigating emerging technologies. Antolovic' also serves as IT Chief Administrative and Finance Officer and in this role oversees an annual IT budget of over $100M, oversees Physical Facilities Management, Data Center Engineering, and Administrative Services. Antolovic' led the development and implementation of the university's comprehensive life cycle funding program for computers, one of the first initiatives of its kind in the nation. She has published articles and presented at conferences on the topics of IT funding, IT strategic planning, budgeting for IT, and Activity-Based Costing. She joined Indiana University in 1985 and served as systems and accounting manager of the IU Bloomington Health Center, and subsequently held numerous management positions at IU's IT and Research organizations. Antolovic' has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, with concentrations in Management and Management Information Systems.
