Leah Lang (EDUCAUSE)Senior IT Metrics and Benchmarking Analyst 282 Century Place, Suite 5000 Louisville, Colorado UNITED STATES (303) 939-0339 Leah LangBiographyLeah Lang is EDUCAUSE's Senior IT Metrics and Benchmarking Analyst. In this role, Leah organizes and leads EDUCAUSE IT metrics and benchmarking activities. This work leverages existing frameworks and communities of practice to identify the benchmarks and metrics that really matter to higher education IT. Leah also serves as product owner of the EDUCAUSE Core Data Service, a benchmarking service used by colleges and universities since 2002 to inform their IT strategic planning and management. Prior to working with EDUCAUSE, Leah was a Service and Metrics Analyst at Carnegie Mellon University. At Carnegie Mellon she conducted surveys and developed metrics that were used to inform IT project and service decisions. Leah has also worked as a Mathematical Statistician at the US Census Bureau. At Census, she did research and development for the American Community Survey, and weighting and variance estimation for the Current Population Survey. Leah has a B.S. in Statistics from Penn State and an MS in Survey Methodology from the University of Maryland.
