Lee GrinerLee GrinerBiographyJames "Lee" Griner holds an MA in English from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a BFA in Speech and Theatre from the University of Montevallo (Alabama). As Editor for the UAB Graduate School and Instructor for the UAB Graduate School's Professional Development Program, he worked with students, faculty, and administrators on a variety of grant proposals and has had a hand in funded proposals on topics ranging from educational programs to biomedical studies. Currently, Lee works for the UAB Institutional Review Board for Human Use, where his duties include maintaining the office's web site, overseeing training in the protection of human research subjects, and revising office documents for clarity and for compliance with federal, state, and university requirements.
