Lisa V. TrubittLisa V. TrubittBiographyLisa Trubitt is the Assistant CIO for Policy and Communications at the University at Albany. As an advisor to the CIO, she makes recommendations for improvements in practice and assists in the overall administration of IT services for the University. Her responsibilities include a wide spectrum of activities including IT policy development, management and dissemination; developing, coordinating and working with various stakeholder and advisory groups; management of internal and external communication activities; and strategic planning. Trubitt graduated with honors from the University at Albany with a B.A. in English and Criminal Justice and an M.A. in Criminal Justice. She is co-leader of ITCOMM, the EDUCAUSE Constituent Group on IT communications and serves on the ICPL Advisory Committee. Trubitt is a 2007 graduate of the Frye Leadership Institute, sits on the Board of Trustees for the Capital District Library Council (CDLC) and is a member of the EDUCAUSE Professional Development Committee and 2009 Program Committee.
