Liv GjestvangLiv GjestvangBiographyLiv Gjestvang is Program Coordinator for Ohio State Universitys Digital Union, a cutting edge multimedia production space and new technology research center. She is a co-founder of OSUs Digital Storytelling Program and brings 10 years of filmmaking experience to this project. Liv began working with production at Listen Up!, a national youth media network in NYC and has taught young filmmakers at the Sundance Film Festival, Taos Talking Pictures and the Wexner Center for the Arts. She is committed to community media and interested in alternative screening and discussion venues. In Columbus, Liv co-founded the Short North Short Film Company, a monthly arts event featuring award-winning short films, bands, DJs and visual artists. She was Founding Director of the Columbus Jewish Film Festival and currently runs Youth Video OUTreach, a program that teaches gay and lesbian youth to use digital media to tell their stories. She has screened her work at Women in the Directors Chair, the San Francisco GLBT Film Fest, Sacramento Film & Music Festival, National Womens Music Festival and more.
