Martha MarinaraDirector, Information Fluency for Quality Enhancement Plan Orlando, Florida UNITED STATES Martha MarinaraBiographyMartha Marinara is currently co-directing the Information Fluency Initiative at the University of Central Florida, where she is an Associate Professor in the English Department. From August 1998 until August 2006, she directed the First-year Writing Program at UCF. Marinara received a BA and an MA in English from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, and a PhD in Rhetoric from Lehigh University in 1993. She has published two textbooks and several articles on writing pedagogy, feminism, and queer theory. Marinara has also published poetry and fiction, and her first novel, Street Angel, was released October 31, 2006.
