Biography

Michael is currently a Senior Consultant Technical Architect with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has spent the last 20 some years in Higher Education IT with Boston, Princeton, Georgetown and Duke Universities and has been actively involved in the development and management of BITNET, the Internet2 and NSF Middleware Initiatives, various activities of the US Federal Government security efforts, development of standards and practices for directories and calendar systems and active involvement in the EDUCAUSE, Internet2 and various other communities of Higher Education. He holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Boston University in 1985.
