Michael Richichi (Drew University)Director of Computing and Network Services Madison, New Jersey UNITED STATES Michael RichichiBiographyMike Richichi is Director of Computing and Network Services at Drew University. Drew, a small liberal arts college with a graduate school and theological seminary, was the first liberal arts college to provide computers to students, and has been recognized as an innovator in ubiquitous computing and networking. Mike is responsible for the networking infrastructure, the student computer program, helpdesk and computer lab support, and telecommunications services. He also is leading strategic planning throughout the technology organization, and has a strategic role in the implementation of a new ERP system. He has been active in EDUCAUSE for nearly a decade and was a 2006 Frye Institute Fellow. He believes that knowledge and implementation of technology is a liberal art. He has recently developed an interest in the use of social media avatars for professional development.
