Prior to joining EDUCAUSE, she was the Associate Vice President for University Information Systems at Indiana University. In this role, she had multi-campus planning and operational responsibilities for large enterprise-wide information systems, including systems development, implementation of enterprise resource planning applications, database administration, systems integration, data warehouse, operations and scheduling, systems administration, and global directories. Systems ranged from in-house developed to vendor packages (PeopleSoft, SIRSI) to community source/open source (Sakai, Kuaki). At Indiana University she has held positions in the student services areas as well as multiple positions in the central information technology organization, including IT Director roles in support, instructional technology, research computing and networking. Prior to joining IU, she held several positions as a research chemist working for the U.S. Navy, Stanford University, Arizona State University and the University of Texas at Dallas.
