Nurhazman Abdul Aziz

Biography

Hazman Aziz is a trainee librarian (Library System and Technology) and Subject Librarian for IT & Operation Management at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he plays an inspirational strategical role in the development of librarin 2.0 in an academic settings. Recent projects include blogging, web usuabality, e-learning development, social networks in library, desktop 2.0 services, feeds analogy, web Interface hacking, virtual reference services and other more.

Hazman is also reading Master of Science (Information Studies) at the university and completed her Bachelor in Information & Communication Technology at the University of Wollongong, Australia. He also earned a diploma in Multimedia, Information Communication & Technology from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore and used to attend in a neighbourhood school, Commonwealth Secondary School, Singapore and a military school, School of Infantry Specialists with Singapore Armed Forces.

Previous working experiences relates and build Hazman's strong foundation in the concepts of delivering e-learning technology. He used to work with a local hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where content management system and blended learning is introduced the hectic world of healthcare. In the military, he was first exposed to the first setup of multimedia servers to align with the military concept of learning. Apart from the offical work, Hazman Aziz has a site named Hazman Aziz.com (http://hazmanaziz.com), where he shares his knowledge on information science with the community.
