Biography

Oren Sreebny holds positions as Director of Emerging Technology and Executive Director of Learning Technologies at the University of Washington, in Seattle. His responsibilities include understanding the evolution of technology and for helping to set technology direction at the UW. Current projects include architecting the next generation online collaborative environment for the UW, working with the Open Source Application Foundation on the development of the Chandler PIM for higher education, and thinking about enterprise calendaring software. Oren is also enjoying writing frequently in his weblog and playing bass with his jazz trio.
