Pattie OrrPattie OrrBiographyPattie Orr is the vice president for information technology and the dean of university libraries at Baylor University, where she leads the university-wide information technology organization that provides administrative and academic technology services, technology infrastructure, and library services and support for digital assets. She serves as chair for the Baylor University Sustainability Committee. A 2000 Frye Fellow and former faculty member for the EDUCAUSE Institute Management Program, Orr has been involved in many professional associations, including EDUCAUSE, ECAR, CLAC, NERCOMP, Texas Digital Library, and LEARN. She has held many leadership roles and presently serves on the LEARN Board of Trustees, the Texas Women in Higher Education Board, and the EDUCAUSE Professional Development Committee. Orr provides IT/library management consulting for higher education institutions in on-site meetings, workshops, and working groups. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, institutional research, user support reorganization, library/IT integration, IT policy creation and incident response, and campus sustainability.
