Ronald N. Brown, Jr.Ronald N. Brown, Jr.BiographyRon Brown is the Director of Strategic IT Projects for the State University of New York (SUNY). Ron is currently focused on direction for the future vision of IT infrastructure to support instruction, research, and administrative information systems, including Business Intelligence, and contracting with vendors for SUNY-wide contracts. Prior to his current position he held the position of the CIO at the SUNY Information Technology Exchange Center (ITEC) and positions at SUNY Buffalo State College including Director of Academic Computing and Associate Director of System. Ron has taught courses in Computer Information System, Mathematics, Statistics, and Research in Education. Ron helped the establishment SUNY Information Technology organizations that support he mission of the University.
