Roxann A. HumbertAssociate Professor/Director of Learning Technologies Fairmont, West Virginia UNITED STATES Roxann A. HumbertBiographyDr. Roxann Humbert is currently Director of Learning Technologies and Associate Professor at Fairmont State University. Previously, she was the manager of Learning and Information Technologies with the West Virginia Network and an instructor for the Bell Atlantic World School Program. She has given over two hundred workshops and has made over fifty presentations at state and national conferences on distance learning and information technology related topics. In September 2000 she was awarded the West Virginia Governor's Office of Technology Award for her statewide efforts in implementing online learning. She was recently awarded the Master Online Teacher certificate from the Illinois Online Network. Roxann has been in the IT field for twenty years. She was a K12 teacher, has taught adult education classes and was a visiting instructor at West Virginia University. Roxann has a B.S. in Home Economics Education, an M.S. in Family Resources and an Ed.D. in Educational Psychology, Quantitative Methods with a minor in Curriculum and Instruction. Her research interests include online learning, learning theory, and online assessment.
