FosterBiographySusan Foster is retired from the University of Delaware and is an ECAR Senior Fellow. Foster joined the University of Delaware as associate vice president for computing and network services in 1989 and became the institutions first vice president for information technologies in 1994. Foster is a recipient of the American Management Systems and Carnegie Mellon Universitys Graduate School of Industrial Administrative Award for Achievement in Managing Information Technology. She has served as chair of the CAUSE board and as cochair of the founding board of EDUCAUSE. Foster has also served as a member of the State of Delaware Governors Commission on Administrative Restructuring, and on of the board of directors of the State of Delaware Center for Educational Technology. She also served on the Technology Investment Council for the State of Delaware Department of Technology and Information.
