Tracy Chapman serves as Executive Director of eLearning and Technology for the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions at Creighton University. In this position she oversees the Office of Information Technology and Learning Resources which providing technical, instructional design, and web development support for the faculty, staff and students of the School. Additionally, she coordinates the five online degree offerings of the School across the disciplines of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and Health Services Administration, including the nation’s first entry level web-based Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She received her Masters in Education from West Texas A&M University, and her Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of South Carolina. She has presented numerous workshops locally, nationally and internationally, with the purpose of preparing faculty for moving their teaching and learning to the online environment, including best practices for using web-based resources for teaching and learning, and effective use of hardware and software tools to enhance teaching and learning, and assessment of student learning. She is a lead author on a chapter focused on Education Technology that is in the second edition of the Handbook of Teaching for Physical Therapists.
