EDUCAUSE 2009 Online Event OverviewEDUCAUSE 2009 Online Conference OverviewAdobe Connect meeting room: This is your home base. All sessions, including links to the streamed sessions and access to online-only sessions, will be available in this space. After you register, you will receive a username/password that will allow you access this site. Streamed sessions: You’ll access these sessions by clicking on a link in the Adobe Connect meeting room. This link will connect you to a streaming service that requires Silverlight; please install it by clicking on the "Web Platform Installer." If you have any problems, please see the technical requirements page. Audio or Technical Difficulties: Please see the technical requirements page for details regarding audio issues, hardware, OS, browser and software requirements. Additional Sites and ResourcesThe Learning Commons: This site includes a suite of tools for sharing ideas and information during and after the session. No username or password is required. Campus Team Facilitator Kit: This kit is available to groups whose members wish to participate together, in one room, using one registration and one log-in. It includes a list of tips and strategies for facilitating discussion on campus. ProceedingsThis is a synchronous event. However, we will archive sessions and let you know when the recordings are available. Streamed sessions: Session options are listed on the online program page and include general, featured, and point/counterpoint sessions, as well as a selection of track sessions. These will be available to online participants in real time and to the public after the event. Expert discussions: These sessions will be recorded and conducted in Adobe Connect and will be available to online participants only, both during and after the event. Session recordings: All session recordings from the face-to-face event will be mailed to you after the conference. |
