Abstract:

This bulletin categorizes and compares the requirements of the U.S. regional accrediting bodies and key professional organizations related to technology administration and usage. Additionally, it contrasts these requirements to key issues and concerns of chief information officers (CIOs) as measured by the 2005 EDUCAUSE Current Issues Survey in an effort to help the CIO better align the IT organization with campus needs and priorities in relation to accreditation.
