This ECAR research bulletin reveals the methodology used by Georgia State University to define and rank information technology projects. With three years of experience under its belt, Georgia State hopes that the insights and lessons learned will guide other institutions interested in implementing a project portfolio management system. The bulletin also serves as a guide for identifying projects and ranking them for appropriate resource allocation.
