ACCK has shared key computer systems since the consortium was established in 1966. Today, a 17-FTE staff ACCK IT staff supports data center operations, including enterprise systems and an enterprise portal (Jenzabar) for the six constituent colleges. This ECAR case study chronicles the development of the consortium and the ACCK computer systems, its funding approach, challenges, successes, and the applicability of this consortium shared services model elsewhere in higher education.
