Abstract:NLII staff are researching intellectual property ownership issues and, working with EDUCAUSE policy analyst Garret Sern and several NLII member volunteers, are developing an NLII policy agenda.

This article summarizes Sern's session at the NLII annual meeting in New Orleans, addressing the issues involved in Policy and Digital Rights Management.

A summary of NLII resources and activities (past, present and planned) on Policy is also provided.
