Electronic NewslettersEDUCAUSE OnlineEDUCAUSE Online is a free e-mail service that notifies readers of upcoming events and deadlines, as well as items featured on EDUCAUSE's weekly Web page. Primary and participating representatives are automatically subscribed to EDUCAUSE Online. EDUPAGEEdupage , a digest of abstracts and links to news of interest to the higher education IT community, was started by Educom in 1993 and continued by EDUCAUSE after it formed in 1998. A publishing hiatus began in December 2006 in order to assess options for better service to subscribers. As RSS technology and other news-aggregator services outpaced the weekly distillation of IT news, the association decided to explore new content delivery options that better match audience needs with available resources. ELI NEWSELI NEWS is a bimonthly newsletter that summarizes and links to EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) news and information and other topics of interest to ELI members. Anyone interested in advancing learning through IT innovation is invited to subscribe. Washington UpdateThe Washington Update is a bimonthly online newsletter written from EDUCAUSE's Washington, D.C. office.
