Integrated Communications StrategiesThe Net@EDU Integrated Communications Strategies and Wireless Networking Working Groups have merged to form the Converged Communications Working Group. The ICS group is no longer active. Read the announcement: Net@EDU Integrated Communications Strategies and Wireless Networking Working Groups to merge . The Integrated Communications Strategies (ICS) Working Group tracks technology developments, products and prices, business models, policy issues, and the latest projections. The working group also tracks a variety of national-scale testbed projects that check performance across both the Internet and advanced networks. An increasing emphasis on mobile devices has evolved in recent years. Significant interaction with the vendor community occurs each year. While recognizing that there are various understandings of what the term "ICS" means, for the purposes of this working group, it signifies the convergence of services such as voice, data, and video on to a single information infrastructure.
