NERCOMP Annual Conference 2012

March 1214, 2012 • Providence, Rhode Island and Online
The Human Side of IT: Does Technology Enhance or Limit Human Interactions?

The NERCOMP Annual Conference will be March 12–14, 2012, in Providence, Rhode Island, and – for the first time – concurrently online. The Rhode Island Convention Center and Westin Hotel are centrally located in the historic downtown district of Providence, and just a short walk from a variety of attractions and restaurants.

The NERCOMP Annual Conference delivers content that shapes the future of IT, addressing the overall thematic question: “Does Technology Enhance or Limit Human Interactions?” Thinking about the personal side of IT is important on campuses today as we all struggle to strike the balance between technology and humanity.

Registration is open. Browse the face-to-face and online programs to see what innovative and practical ideas are being presented, and what hot topics will be discussed. Be inspired to take a critical look at where you currently are, and where you can go when you return to campus.

Who Should Attend?

Whether you are a broad scope information technologist, teaching and learning professional, or library professional, there are track sessions tailored to meet your learning needs. Staff, faculty and researchers who use IT to conduct their daily work will also benefit from attending the NERCOMP Annual Conference.

If you can’t attend in Providence, don’t miss out – plan to participate online!
