2001 Net@EDU Broadband Pricing Working Group: Strategies for Accessing National and Global Networks

The Net@EDU Broadband Pricing Working Group (BPG) is convening its third forum on strategies for accessing affordable broadband networks. Since its inception, the BPG's mission has evolved from strictly broadband pricing issues to providing guidance for the higher education community on the best strategies for connecting to global networks. Attendees will hear on the BPG's progress to date, including the efforts of the newly formed BPG International Task Force, as well as current efforts underway within our community. Industry participants will share their views on the current economic upheaval, and how this will affect the deployment and pricing of broadband networks.
